At the session on Friday June 6th, the club committee decided to allow Roger Platfoot’s renditions of George Formby songs to raise money for the Chinese Earthquake relief appeal. Steve Kwan, leading the Borders Chinese community in this, has organised British Red Cross collection boxes at all the Chinese restaurants and businesses in the region.
