The refitting of The Cobbles Inn by Annika and Gavin is now complete, and the transformation is a masterpiece – a ‘Tardis’ job in more ways than one, jumping the Cobbles a couple of decades into the future and making the space inside double what it appeared to be before.

Pete Smith and Deb Cowan have both visited the Kelso Club before, separately. The hands you can see on the closest guitar of our header photo belong to Pete, who is an official clinician (demonstrator and performer) for Taylor guitars. He’s an amazingly fast, funny guitarist with a woodshedload of unusual jazz and swing techniques injected into fingerstyle accompaniment.
