Let’s have your music for the club CD!

Walkfest cheque presentation

The 13th Borders Festival of Walking 2007 was based in Kelso and organised by volunteers from the town. As  result of good management and promotion, it made a profit of £3,250 to distribute to local charities and associations. The cheques were presented in early February – town provost Margaret Riddle is seen holding the cheque with Trevor Black of the St James’s Fair committee. Peter Fry and David Kilpatrick are behind – Peter chaired the Walking Festival committee, and David as Folk Club chairman received the club’s cheque.

Kelso Folk and Live Music Club has received a donation of £750 towards the production of a club CD release.
